Effective Communication and Organization Skills

Without effective communication and organization within a company things are guaranteed to slip through the cracks.  There are many key elements that can be used in order for this to not happen including planning, leading and controlling.  It is extremely important to be proactive rather than reactive to any situation.  Communication is a source of information for getting any task or project completely correctly and without error.

When it comes to communication it is very important to plan.  Always make sure that you understand the project or task completely before you try and hand it off to your team.  If you don’t fully understand, don’t be afraid to ask questions in order to properly plan.  Once you fully understand take the lead on the project and give out the assigned duties to your team. If you have everyones gears turning at the same time it will make the final project come together much smoother.  Also, by giving the proper communication it can get your team extremely motivated and ready to work.  If they feel that you are confident then that confidence will roll over to them.  Leading the project and taking control tie into the same category.  If you have full control this will allow things from slipping out of your reach.

Communication and organization always go hand and hand.  The best way to stay organized is to outline the project or job you are working on.  Make a set of deadlines in order to reach your goal.  It is also best to give your team goals and physical dates in order to meet the final deadline.  When it comes to staying organized internally it will help your client have trust and faith within your company to meet their goals as well.  Always remember to plan, lead and control.  With these elements in mind you will be guaranteed to excel at any given project.
