BP Facebook Controversy

Controversy-prone Facebook strikes again. Major debate surrounds the temporary disablement of a 700,000-person-strong page titled ‘The Boycott BP page’, which attempts to dissuade the public from purchasing from the company (due to the devastating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico). Though said to have been an automated error, the page was restored shortly after complaints.
